Recovery Support Rooted in Christ & Community
If you or someone you love is seeking a Christ-centered next step in recovery, Friends of Recovery NE Ohio offers support, structure, and community grounded in faith and accountability.
HOW WE SUPPORT RECOVERY
Christ-Centered Recovery Homes
Safe, structured “next step” living environments for men and women pursuing sobriety and spiritual growth.
Accountability & Community
Residents live alongside others in recovery, practicing responsibility, honesty, and mutual support.
Spiritual Support
Faith is foundational. Residents participate in prayer, Scripture, and discipleship as part of daily life.
Continued Connection
Support doesn’t end at move-out. We value ongoing relationships and community beyond residency.
Taking this step takes courage. If you’re seeking a Christ-centered, supportive recovery home, we’re honored to walk with you as you explore whether Friends of Recovery NE Ohio is the right fit.
Submitting an application does not guarantee placement, but it helps us begin the conversation.
Our recovery homes are designed for men and women who have completed detox or inpatient treatment and are seeking a structured, faith-based “next step” living environment.
Residents are individuals who:
Are committed to pursuing sobriety
Are open to a Christ-centered recovery approach
Desire accountability, structure, and community
Are willing to participate in house expectations and community life
We believe God meets people in moments just like this. Wherever you are in your journey, you are not alone.
If you’re unsure whether this program is the right fit, or if you have questions before applying, we’d love to talk with you. Please contact Lorrie at Lorrie.forneo@gmail.com or (440) 376-4419.
Community Life Support Groups
Not everyone’s next step is residency. Our community support group meetings offer a welcoming, Christ-centered space for individuals seeking encouragement, accountability, and connection in recovery or looking for support in any area of your life — no application required.
Please join us for support every Tuesday evening.

“Arukah has changed my life! A year ago, I never expected to be where I am today. I have become a person I never saw coming. Today, I have a safe home with a loving support system I consider family. Arukah is the perfect environment, allowing me to have all the necessities of a home while figuring out who I am and what I want to do next.”
