“Shalom” means “peace” in Hebrew and is used as a Jewish greeting and farewell. The Shalom Home for Women with Children opened with its first residents in May 2023.

Shalom is a home for women with their dependent children five years old and younger. This home once operated as an illegal drug manufacturing and distribution house for many years. This was a family run business. The father passed away from a drug overdose and the family then moved their operation to California. Renovations began by FORNEO in January 2021 and were completed in May 2023.
